Just Too Dang Cute!

November 9, 2011 By Julie Hasson

A-dorable Cookie Stamp (and pic) from Brown Cookie

Does your heart ever start rapidly fluttering when you see a super-cute baking pan or cookie cutter? That feeling where you go “Oh my god, I have got to have that right this very minute”. Well, it happens to me. A lot! I go crazy for anything super cute or super cool that has to do with baking and cooking, especially when it’s completely out of the ordinary. Like Demarle Flexipan Trays. Or this and this. Or, this very cool website I just came across. And no, they have not asked me to blog about their site.  I don’t know the owner. I just had to share, in case you are just like me.

I could run into the other room and squeal to my husband, but he would most likely do an eye roll and ask me where I plan on storing said adorable items. Plus, what fun would that be? So, if you think that making Chinese moon cakes sounds like fun, check out browncookie.com. Oh, and I’d love to hear if you give moon cakes a try. Or if you have some other cool website or baking pans that I must check out.

Wait, did I mention the baked corn dog and pigs in a blanket maker? I guess that will have to wait for another blog post; )

xo Julie

Kitchen accessories and gadgets are so hard to resist. My partner does the same thing – anytime I get near the appliances, I see the look of fear in his eyes, and that I’m gonna expect him to build a cupboard and just create magical space to store everything in :P.

Those cookies look adorable!! Just gorgeous. We have things called “Jam Drops” here (I think they’re thumbprint cookies in the USA?), and they look like moon cake versions of those.

    That is adorable!
I love buying kitchen gadgets as well, because no matter how much space they take up for storage or how infrequently I may end up using them, just have the potential to make something adorable, and the end product when I do make it, is worth it.

I lovethe cookie stamp and the moon cake press/mold. I can never resist and cool or cute gadget. I have my eye on the corn dog baker and pigs in a blanket maker. I may soon own that. 🙂
I have to mention that I made Cinnamon Orange Rolls from Vegan Diner this morning for breakfast. They are so delicious!
