Vegan + Plant-Based Cooking Videos!

March 23, 2020 By Julie Hasson

Lobster Mushrooms | Julie's Kitchenette

These past few weeks have felt like a crazy nightmare along the lines of a Stephen King novel. I keep thinking I need to wake up from it, but unfortunately it’s our new reality for the time being. Learning to process it is the hard part.

Like many of you, I have loved ones that are immunocompromised and seniors, so it makes everything all the more distressing. We will survive this, but the onslaught of anxiety surging through our bodies is certainly making it more challenging. I’m trying everything from meditation and dog cuddles to exercise and even CBD gummies. I think every lit bit seems to help.

What I really wanted to share with you though, is that I have hundreds of free cooking videos here on this site. I spent the last few months migrating everything over from Everyday Dish, so that the videos could all be in one place. And, as we all are finding ourselves hunkered down at home, easy cooking videos and recipes can be an awesome resource for eating well, passing the time and learning new skills. Every chef has different techniques that they utilize, which is why my husband and started filming these cooking videos over 12 years ago. There’s so much you can learn from watching each chef and cookbook author cook. As amazing as cookbooks are, there are lots of little details left out. The videos can all be found under the video tab on the menu bar up top, or click here: Videos

I will also add that not all of the videos are gluten-free. When we started Everyday Dish (and throughout that time span), I was still able to eat gluten. Many of the recipes can be adapted to be GF (with the major exception being seitan). The other recipes on my site from the past 7ish years (including some of the most recent videos) are all GF. I will continue to film more videos, as well as offering more online classes and ebooks.

One last thing too. We may have a random hodge podge of food in our pantries, but we can usually adapt recipes to work with what we have on hand, especially now. You can also leave a comment below or email me through this site if you have specific questions, and I will try and answer.

Please everyone stay safe! We can all get through this together, by hunkering down at home as best we can and with lots of love and human kindness.

xoxo Julie

Hi Julie, I miss Everyday Dish, so look forward to watching some of the videos again.
Unfortunately, my husband has a heart condition that means no added salt. Having hard time finding food that tastes good.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

This is a great time to dive into your videos! Thank you so much!

Any recommendations for immunity boosting recipes? I’d also love to make my own Eldeberry Syrup or Tonics if you have anything like that in your medicine chest…. are you making your own CBD Gummies, would love a recipe for those!

I wish you, your followers, your family and friends health and healing.

    Love, Peace and Aloha,
    Kathie
